Work from the edges inward when solving grid-based puzzles, as border pieces have fewer possible positions. Count the available elements before starting to ensure you understand the constraints. If a level feels impossible, try a different approach entirely, many puzzles have multiple valid solutions and the obvious path is not always the fastest.
